These capacitors are designed for the betterment of the power factor in low voltage power networks by our organization.

It is necessary to reduce & manage the flow of reactive power to achieve higher efficiency of the electrical system and reduction in cost of electricity consumed. The quick & cost effective method of reducing and managing reactive power is through improvement of power factor by 

installing Power Capacitors.

Typical applications as below: 
• PF correction in LV network 
• LV Dynamic Automatic power factor correction panels (APFC)

• Fixed power factor correction 
• Tuned and detuned Harmonic filters

   



Qiyutech capacitors are constructed using the most exceptional technologies. These unconventional products are the outcome of in-depth knowledge of the system. Our Low Voltage Power Capacitors with rectangular casing are composed of an advanced zinc-aluminum laminate. They are self-healing shunt capacitors that adopt the superior pieces of equipment. They are under National Standard GB/T12747-2004 and International Standard IEC 60931-1. These compact and lightweight gadgets are 1/4th of its old generation. Its self-consumption is quite insignificant. Furthermore, the remarkable self-healing performance makes it reliable. The dielectric used in this device is metallized polypropylene; which is a semisolid environmentally favorable impregnation.

Temperature range lies between 25℃~50℃. The capacitance of these devices extends from 19.9-1194.3μF.

 

1. Small size and light weight: adopting metallized polypropylene film as dielectric, its size and weight are only 1/4 or 1/5 of those of old generation.

2. Low loss: actual loss tangent value is lower than 0.10%, its energy self-consumption is small, little heat, low temperature rise, long service life and better effect of energy conservation.

3. Excellent self-healing performance: it can quickly self-heal the partial breakthrough of dielectric by over voltage and continue to work normally, which significantly enhances its reliability.

4. Safety: built-in self-discharge resistor and safety device. Built-in self-discharge resistor can discharge automatically the electricity stored in the capacity; if any fault happens to the capacitor, the safety device can break the power supply timely to avoid further development of the fault and ensure application safety.

5. No oil-leakage: this capacitor adopts advanced semisolid environment friendly impregnation; drop-melting temperature is higher than 70℃; no oil leakage during application so no risk to pollute environment and the capacitor will not fail.

Application Conditions

Indoor use

Temperature range:-25℃~50℃

Humidity: <85%

Altitude: <2000m

Installation environment: no harmful gas or steam, no conductive or explosive dust and no strenuous vibration.

Ventilation and heat dissipation: if more than two capacitors are applied, the distance between two shall be>50mm. when the temperature is high in summer, effective heat dissipation measures should be taken.
