High Voltage Power Capacitors
High voltage power capacitor features aluminum casing, polypropylene film, 40℃~+40℃ ambient temperature, 1.4-73.2 uF capacitance, 5% ~ +10% capacitance tolerance, and tan δ ≤0.0012 to δ≤0.0005 dissipation. Each capacitor is fully tested and guaranteed by Qiyutech.

They serve vast and various purposes in several circuits. Their prime advantage is to enhance the power factor. In various circuits, they help in adjusting the power system quality. They act as tuned and detuned passive filters. As the name serves, they work in high voltage setups, UPS, VFD, Furnaces and converters


We at Qiyutech are technical scientific in our products and provide with the standard commodities. Our High Voltage Power Capacitors, specifically, are designed for power factor improvement and harmonics filtration. They are all film-coated dielectrics infused with polypropylene which is environmentally benign, biodegradable and non-toxic oil. The aluminum foils are used in the gadgets as electrodes. The construction mechanism that has been brought to practice by our organization assures insignificant losses. They have internal discharge resistors for a better role. The single-phase units are in I connection.

Additionally, the Temperature spectrum is of the order -40℃~+40℃. The rated Capacitance varies from 1.4-73.2 uF. This product is per National GB/T 11024.1-2010 as well as International Standards IEC 60871-1.

Technical performance and requirements:

1. Capacitance tolerance:-5%~+10%; the rate between the highest and lowest capacitance of any two line terminals among three phases should be smaller than 1.06.

2. Under rated voltage Un and temperature 20℃, the dielectric loss tangent value is:

A. For laminate dielectric of film and paper: tan δ ≤0.0012

B. For only film dielectric: δ≤0.0005

3. Continuous working voltage is 1.0Un and the highest value of long-time over voltage should not be over 1.1Un.

4. Steady state over current (including harmonic current) should not be over 1.43ln.

5. The biggest allowable capacity should not be over 1.35Qn.

6. The altitude of area where capacitors are installed and used should be not over 1000m.

7. The ambient air temperature of area where capacitors are installed and used should be within -40℃~+40℃.

8. The residue voltage on their terminals should not be over 0.1Un when they are put into use.

9. The area where capacitors are installed and used should have no strenuous mechanical vibration, no hazardous gas or steam and no electrical conductivity or explosive dust.
